Their special substantial western sound has brought consideration from the two fans and press the same since their commencement in 1999.

Throughout the most recent couple of years, Ghoultown's dim western requiems and unquestionable nearness have discovered their way into four CD discharges, motion pictures, short movies, various arrangements and even a computer game. 

Framed in 1999 by vocalist/guitarist COUNT LYLE (Solitude Aeturnus, The Killcreeps), Ghoultown recorded its initial 3-melody EP in October of that equivalent year.

Named BOOTS OF HELL, the EP delineated the intensity of the band's Tex-Mex mix while accumulating frenzied audits, a fanbase and autonomous radio airplay.

With BOOTS OF HELL available for use, the band's initial buzz landed them a few arrangement appearances.

The most outstanding being Skully Records' (NY) GOTHABILLY 2: ROCKIN' NECROPOLIS where they share the bill with the absolute best psychobilly acts the world over.

As a commencement, the band was welcome to partake on the planet discharge show held at NY's scandalous CBGB's on Halloween 2000. 

By 2002 Ghoultown attacked the film world when four of their tunes were picked for the soundtrack of the repulsiveness slasher, AMERICAN NIGHTMARE, featuring b-film sovereign Debbie Rochon (TROMEO and JULIET).

As a demonstration of their critical live show, the film content was in this way changed to incorporate a Ghoultown execution appearance after the chief saw the band live, and the video for their track "Executioner In Texas" was incorporated as a little something extra on the DVD. 

Hitting 2003 Ghoultown's particular tune "Executioner In Texas'' showed up in a short film called HEAD CHEESE which was delivered on DVD with a film called FREAK.

Fittingly, HEAD CHEESE was shot in a similar area as TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE... house what not!
